As many royal fans know, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently celebrated their daughter Princess Lilibet Diana’s third birthday. While no royals were in attendance, many of the couples’ celebrity pals and Lilibet’s buddies were all there for the birthday bash. It didn’t seem like the Sussex family was displeased about the royals not coming, but experts are pretty peeved.

Along with that, one celebrity’s odd rant about Kate Middleton not attending Lilibet’s birthday is resurfacing amid her cancer battle, and we have so many questions.

So, back in 2022, Meghan’s pal and reality star Garcelle Beauvais actually called out the Princess of Wales for not going to her niece’s birthday.

“What’s going on is, ‘What a coincidence, we’re out of town, I’m washing my hair.’ There’s a little shade there,” she said to E! Via OK Magazine. “No. They can’t hold back the flight a couple of hours to meet Lilibet and Archie?”

On Lilibet’s third birthday, for the third year in a row, the Prince and Princess of Wales have been a no-show to her birthday; and now, Beauvais’ quotes are being resurfaced again.

While many have been unhappy that Prince William and Kate were not in attendance, and thus why the quotes resurfaced, especially since so many agree with the sentiment. But this year is different, because, you know, Kate is battling cancer and has been away from the public eye since her Instagram video in March 2024.
