Princess Charlotte and Pippa Middleton’s daughter Grace have a sweet connection – and it’s all to do with their famous mums and the Middleton family.

The bond between the Princess of Wales and her sister Pippa is said to be extremely strong.

The pair were born just 21 months apart and are said to be like best friends as well as sisters.

Their individual journeys into motherhood seem parallel with both having three children. Kate is mother to Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, with Prince William.

Meanwhile, Pippa mothered Arthur, five, Grace, three, and one-year-old Rose together with her husband James Matthews.

Charlotte and Grace also have something special in common.

They both have Elizabeth as their middle name – a moniker passed on through the Middleton family via Carole and Kate who also share the sweet name.

And for Charlotte, the name has even more of a touching meaning, as it was shared with her paternal great-grandmother, the late Queen.

Meanwhile her second middle name is Diana, a touching nod to William’s late mother. Grace’s full name, meanwhile, is Grace Elizabeth Jane Matthews – with Jane chosen as a nod to James’s mother and Pippa’s mother-in-law, Jane Matthews

Royal expert Jennie Bond told OK!: “The fact that [Pippa] has married an extremely wealthy man, James Matthews, means that the relationship between the two sisters has remained quite a balanced one.

“Pippa and James have a riverside mansion in Berkshire, less than an hour’s drive from Windsor (where Catherine lives) and half an hour from their parents,” she detailed.

The Royal expert also praised Pippa for maintaining her humility despite the intense media attention she received as her sister’s bridesmaid. She described Pippa as “by all accounts, a delightful young woman”.

With the Middleton family renowned for their close bond, parents Carole and Michael remain actively involved with their offspring and grandchildren.

Similarly, Pippa and her spouse James are no exceptions, providing key support to the Princess during her abdominal surgery and subsequent cancer diagnosis.

The Princess’s brother, James Middleton, stands as another supportive pillar, reports the Mirror.

James did not hesitate to publicly express his affection for his sister following news of her cancer affliction. Via Instagram, he shared a photo of the siblings during a childhood climb in the alps, captioning it, “Over the years, we have climbed many mountains together. As a family, we will climb this one with you too.”
