The royal children all have very different net worths, apparently

It might seem like a rogue move to compare the net worths of celebrity children, but apparently, that’s where we’re at today.

And in a rather bizarre twist of fate, it has this week been claimed that one royal youngster has actually usurped their older sibling when it comes to their finances despite the latter being in line to the British throne.

We are, of course, talking about nine-year-old Princess Charlotte and her 10-year-old brother Prince George, the two eldest children of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Before you kickstart the argument that the royal youngsters – nor their parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William – don’t actually receive any form of compensation for their institutional duties, that isn’t what we mean.

Basically, if you add up all the wealth that the tiny royals would be bringing into their already affluent household with their public endeavours, both Charlotte and George would be raking in the billions.

Apparently, however, despite the Prince George being second in line to the British throne – behind father William, 42, and grandfather, King Charles III, 75 – his little sister would be set to earn more cash than him if you considered their net worth as celebrity children, and for a very specific reason, too.

According to research conducted by Outdoor Toys, the young princess would have an estimated net worth of around £3.9 billion due to something called the ‘Kate Middleton effect’, putting her ahead of Rihanna and Beyonce’s children, as well as her own brother.

Basically, with undeniable style icon Kate often impacting fashion trends with her keen eye, many of the items of clothing the mother-of-three is seen donning often sky-rocket in sales, with British brands earning around £1 billion annually based on the princess’ fashion antics.

And it is believed that future fashionista Charlotte will harbour the same fashion forward reputation as she grows up, meaning she’d also be raking in a pretty penny, if she wasn’t a member of the monarchy, that is.

On the other hand, however, it sounds as though shoppers aren’t as keen on replicating the fashions of the male members of the Royal Family, as Prince George only boasts a net worth of £2.8 billion, apparently.

That isn’t to say that the future King is short in wealth.

Put it this way, while many of us received soft toys and kids books for our 1st birthdays, George reportedly received an £18,000 ‘Shepherd’s Hut’ to play inside, courtesy of his grandfather, the then Prince Charles.

He was also immediately handed ownership of over 133,000 acres of land upon his birth.

Alright for some, eh?
