Kate Middleton has been in the media spotlight since it came to light that the image she had shared with her children had been edited.
Such was the turmoil surrounding the Princess of Wales, that she had to put an end to all speculation about her whereabouts on March 23, when she announced in a video that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
King Charles III’s daughter-in-law explained that she intended to stay out of the public eye so that her preventive chemotherapy treatment would be carried out as discreetly as possible.
“We hope you understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment. My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to returning when I can, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery,” she said in the video.
