Prince Louis is the proud owner of a very special gift from Prince Harry but he is never allowed to use it. The Duke of Sussex bought the young prince, six, a first edition copy of AA Milne’s Winnie the Pooh costing £8,000 as a gift for his christening back in 2018.
Just 30,000 copies of the book were printed in its first run meaning that due to its historical significance, Louis can never actually read it.
It is thought that Prince Harry purchased the book from London rare book seller Peter Harrington.
Harry is thought to be building a library of first edition classics for his niece and nephews having loved being read a bedtime story as a child.

A friend of the royal told The Sun: “One of Harry’s happiest childhood memories was being read a bedtime story by his mother.
“She loved all the classics and Harry had the brilliant idea of starting a little library of first editions.”
It is thought Harry had initially considered buying Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking Glass, priced at £24,000, but decided Winnie the Pooh would be more suitable.
Prince Harry was a big fan of books as a youngster, enjoying anything by AA Milne but his favourite book was Robinson Crusoe.
The Duke of Sussex will return to England next week to take part in a celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
But it is understood he will not be joined by Meghan Markle for the event with the Duchess of Sussex staying at their Montecito home to look after their children.
