Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live in a lavish home in California, Los Angeles with their two children – but living a billionaire style lifestyle means money is disappearing, claims a royal expert.
The couple’s nine-bedroom mansion is thought to be worth £11million and the royal pair live close to celebrities including Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres, with Harry and Meghan once even adopting Ellen’s chicken in their coop. Huge outgoings include security, private travel and of course the designer outfits Meghan wears to engagements – including an £8K outfit on the slopes of Whistler in Canada to promote the Invictus Games.
Royal expert, Tom Quinn told the Mirror: “Harry and Megan certainly have enough money for now to carry on with their Royal lifestyle in America, but the launch of the new brand suggests that they are aware that the money is disappearing fast”
He also claims making choices about “what they can or cannot afford” could fill the couple with “horror”. Mr Quinn explains the couple are also focused on making their brand a success. Thought to be The Tig 2.0, Meghan set up ‘American Riviera Orchard’ on Instagram on March 14. Since then, she has not released any further details on what the brand will become.
The brand’s trademark application did however reveal that it would sell a variety of home goods and decor products, from jams to cookbooks and kitchenware to fans.
