Prince Archie, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been dragged into the row surrounding Royal Family photos.
Earlier this month, Princess Kate’s Mother’s Day photo was ‘killed’ by six major photo agencies over concerns that it had been manipulated.
The Princess of Wales issued an official apology for editing the photograph following the backlash.
The incident sparked a review of all Royal Family photos by several international agencies in a bid to check if previous pictures had been edited.
On Monday, Getty flagged a photo of the late Queen Elizabeth II alongside her great-grandchildren as another picture that had been edited.
The photograph was taken by the Princess of Wales in August 2022.
Buckingham Palace released the photo on April 21, 2023, to mark what would have been the late Queen’s 97th birthday.
Getty has now flagged Prince Archie’s official christening photograph, which features a beaming Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, as an image that has been manipulated.
The photo agency claimed that the picture had been digitally enhanced.
It was taken by fashion photographer Chris Allerton and was released after Archie’s christening on July 6, 2019.
Allerton strenuously denied manipulating the image and said regarding the claim: “Load of cobblers. Bye.”
Princess Kate, Prince William, King Charles and Queen Camilla all feature in the picture as well as Meghan’s mother Doria and Princess Diana’s sisters.
