King Charles reportedly met with David Beckham on Thursday to discuss charity work, despite being too busy to meet with his son, Prince Harry.
But it is understood the King did not join his son at the St Paul’s Cathedral for a service to mark ten years of the event – instead attending a garden party at Buckingham Palace.
The Mirror reported that Charles had been “too busy” to meet the prince but apparently did find time to discuss the King’s Foundation with Beckham.
The King and former England football captain were seen in Highgrove, Gloucestershire, on Thursday.
Beckham is a renowned royalist and famously joined the queue to see the Queen lying in state in Westminster Hall after her death in September 2022.

Beckham said: “Obviously it’s been a big few weeks for His Majesty and the family but we are all very excited about being here today.
“It will be a pleasure to meet our King today. I have always been a huge royalist and I was brought up to love the royal family.
“Fashion secretly has been a part of my life for many years – even when I was a young boy I always liked to dress in things that were different and different hair styles as you’ve seen over the years.”
Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex started their trip with a welcome at the Nigerian Defence HQ in capital Abuja to promote the Prince’s Invictus Games. They met army wives and top officers in the country’s military.
