And the Princess of Wales was last seen on camera during a video address on March 22, revealing she’d been diagnosed with cancer and would be taking time to focus on her health and recovery.
However! The Daily Mail dropped an update on May 27 saying “The Mail understands that the princess has been seen out and about more with her family in recent weeks.”
These outings have flown under the radar (meaning, there are no pics), but glad to hear she’s feeling up to stepping out!

Buuut that doesn’t mean Kate’s ready to return to public duties. In fact, a source recently passed on this somewhat!!!! info to the Daily Beast:
“I am told that Kate’s diary for this year is empty. There is nothing planned. She may not appear in public for the rest of the year.”
They also added, “I would not rule out another video message updating the country on her health. That proved to be a very effective way of keeping the conspiracy theorists at bay.”
Meanwhile, a senior royal aide tells the Daily Mail that—when it comes to Kate returning to public duties—”We have been really clear that she needs the space and the privacy to recover right now. She will return to work when she has had the green light from doctors.”
There’s speculation that her royal highness could make a balcony appearance during Trooping the Colour on June 15, so stay tuned!
