Balmoral Castle

Since 1853, this estate in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, has been owned by the British Royal Family (not the crown). It was a favourite holiday home for the Queen, who was actually in this castle when she found out about the death of Princess Diana. As we now know, it’s also where the Queen died.
