Harry’s UK visit holds more problems for Wills & Kate – they deserve peaceful anniversary, experts say…

PRINCE Harry’s visit to the UK next month will cause more problems for William and Kate, a royal expert has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex will return home for the Invictus Games Foundation’s 10th Anniversary on May 8.

It will be his first time in Britain since Princess Kate announced she is receiving treatment for cancer on March 22.

And the announcement of Harry’s trip clashed with Kate and William’s 13th wedding anniversary – which the couple are celebrating today.

Now royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has revealed he believes Harry’s trip home will be “awkward” for the future King and Queen.

Speaking to The Sun he explained: “I think that Harry’s visit presents problems for William and Catherine.

“Because, yes, their wedding anniversary is today, and we send all good wishes to them and our thoughts and prayers are with Catherine as she goes through preventative chemotherapy.

“You know, it is obviously a very difficult, very stressful time, and also with the family having so many responsibilities.

“It looks to me very, very unlikely that they will see Harry when he’s over, and it’s clear that its not the time for that.

“Any bridging of the rift to be meaningful must mean mutual trust and it must mean also that they’re in touch privately.

“We know they have been in private contact after Catherine’s video message, but we have, I think, a very, very, very long way to go before the Waleses can trust the Sussexes for obvious reasons.

“So I think I think it’s very difficult.”

Two reasons Meghan WON’T come to Britain with Harry – as royal rift set to overshadow Invictus message, says expert

It is not known where the duke will be staying on his visit but he is homeless in the UK after being evicted last summer from Frogmore Cottage.

It comes as Kate and William today shared an unseen photo of their wedding day to celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary.

The black and white portrait taken by photographer Millie Pilkington shows the couple relaxed and smiling on their big day in 2011.

It is believed the couple will celebrate away from the spotlight, after Kate asked for “time, space and privacy” while she completes her treatment.

After the UK trip Harry and Meghan Markle will then head to Nigeria.

The couple will take part in “cultural activities” after they were invited by the west African country’s chief of defence staff.

It will be Meghan and Harry’s first trip to Nigeria as a couple.

Harry has had a long relationship with Africa, even taking his now-wife Meghan to Botswana for a camping trip as one of their early dates.

And in 2019 the couple embarked on a tour of southern Africa.

The Duchess of Sussex flew with baby Archie to Johannesburg where they were later joined by Harry, after he visited Malawi.

During the time apart Meghan told journalist she was struggling to cope with them being apart.

The Duke has also established a charity to help African orphans, Sentebale, with Prince Seeiso from Lesotho.
