George and Charlotte’s relatable morning struggle but dad William knows how to handle it

Prince George and Princess Charlotte like to listen to their favourite songs whilst getting ready for school – but are not known to like the same ones.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are said to have a very relatable morning struggle – but dad Prince William knows exactly how to handle it.

Prince William has previously given an insight into his children’s morning routine, adding that his two eldest children like to listen to music as they eat their breakfast before school.

Like many siblings, George, 10, and Charlotte, nine, tend to start each day arguing over which song they want to listen to, according to William.

According to the Mirror: “What I’ve been amazed by is how much my children already have inherited my family’s love of music.

“Most mornings there’s a massive fight between [Princess] Charlotte and [Prince] George as to what song is played.”

He added: “And I have to, now, basically prioritise that one day someone does this one and another day it’s someone else’s turn.

“So, George gets his go, then Charlotte gets her go. Such is the clamour for the music.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales also have another child to add to the morning chaos – their youngest son, Prince Louis, now six.

Letting the children take turns has appeared to work, and even Louis enjoys “dancing, messing around, and singing” to the music as they get ready for school.

All three of the couple’s children are said to enjoy different styles of music, with Charlotte known to be a fan of Waka Waka by Shakira.

Prince George is said to favour heavier music than his sister, like the band AC/DC.

Speaking at last year’s Earthshot Prize, William told pop band, One Republic, that Louis was a fan of their music.

Previously opening up about his own music taste, William revealed that he likes to listen to one song in particular in the morning as it “absolutely wakes you up”.

Prince Louis celebrated his sixth birthday on April 23, with the Prince and Princess of Wales releasing a new picture of their adorable son. Charlotte also celebrated her birthday earlier this week, having turned nine on May 2.

Prince George will celebrate his 11th birthday on July 22 and is currently second in line to the throne.

The children have all spent time out of the royal spotlight this year following their mum’s cancer diagnosis.
