Prince Harry presents Soldier of the Year award in April
Prince Harry has suffered a second setback in the space of 24 hours, after it was announced that Prince William will receive a major new title.
Buckingham Palace has announced that Prince William will be made colonel-in-chief of the Army Air Corps – which is Prince Harry’s old regiment. It is thought the role would have passed to Harry had he not left his official royal duties four years ago.
It comes hours after it was revealed that King Charles is not set to meet Prince Harry during his UK visit – despite them both being in London just miles apart.
Charles reportedly has a jam-packed schedule, as he is set to attend a Buckingham Palace garden party while Prince Harry visit St Paul’s Cathedral in London for an Invictus Games anniversary ceremony.
Meghan Markle has not joined her husband Prince Harry in London – and will instead fly straight to Nigeria, where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will meet top officials for talks surrounding the Invictus Games.
