Prince Harry’s solo trip to the UK may feel even more isolating next week as no one responded from the Royal Family when he invited them to Invictus Games celebrations, reports claim.
The move has been viewed as an olive branch to mend strained relationships with his immediate family as he flies in from across the pond to the ceremony at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on May 8.
According to Page Six, multiple sources say Harry has “invited them all” to celebrate a decade of his charity that honours wounded veterans and their families. The outlet reports a “well-placed London socialite” who knows the brothers confirmed that Harry had invited William and other members of the Firm to come along.
However, no senior members of the Royal Family are expected at the event at St Paul’s Cathedral next week, where Prince Harry is set to give a reading.
King Charles is expected to have a packed diary of events, and on Wednesday he will attend his weekly audience with Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak. He will also attend the first Buckingham Palace garden party of the season, medical advice pending.

As Buckingham Palace issued King Charles’s latest health update, the Palace added that his medical team was “very encouraged by the progress made so far” and remains “positive about the King’s continued recovery”.
The King will not participate in a full summer programme of royal events but will undertake engagements subject to doctors’ advice and appropriate adaptations in place.
Aides are planning for the King to attend key events such as Trooping the Colour, D-Day commemorations, garden parties and Royal Ascot, though the Palace said “nothing can be confirmed or guaranteed at this stage”.
It’s expected Harry will not travel to the UK until after his son Prince Archie’s birthday celebrations as the young prince turns 5 on May 6.
Harry and Meghan previously attended the One Year to Go event to mark one year until the Winter Invictus Games 2025. During the visit to the ski slopes in Vancouver in February to meet competitors, Prince Harry spoke to ABC News.
He said he was “grateful” for the time spent with his father earlier that month, adding: “I’ll stop in and see my family as much as I can.”
Prince Harry had visited the UK for a quick meeting with his father at Clarence House after learning of his cancer diagnosis, which saw him return to the country for less than 25-hours.
