Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born at 8.34am on May 2, 2015 at St Mary’s Hospital in London, the location of many royal births over the years.
She joined her older brother Prince George, who was born on July 22, 2013, with the youngest member of the clan Prince Louis later arriving on April 23, 2018.
Ever since her birth Charlotte has become one of the most popular members of the Royal Family, with fans delighted whenever they get to see her during a royal occasion or outing.
Princess Charlotte was born on May 2, 2015 in London, the second child and only daughter of Princess Kate and Prince William, who were then better known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Ever since her arrival Charlotte has delighted royal watchers with her antics, as she has begun to appear at more and more royal events as she gets older.

Princess Kate and Prince William looked absolutely thrilled to be standing on the steps of the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s with their newborn daughter on May 2, 2015.
Her birth was celebrated across the capital with gun salutes, and many famous landmarks were lit up in pink.
Little Prince George also came to the hospital to meet his baby sister.
Princess Charlotte was christened on July 5, 2015 at St Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham estate, with the service carried out by the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby.
Her names were chosen in honour of three senior members of the Royal Family – her grandfather then-Prince Charles, her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth, and her late grandmother Princess Diana.
The family stayed at Anmer Hall in Norfolk after her birth, later relocating to Kensington Palace in 2017.

Just a year after her birth Charlotte joined her parents and older brother George on a royal tour in Canada.
She later also came with them when they toured Germany and Poland, in spite of her young age.
Now Charlotte and her brothers tend not to go with their parents on royal tours due to them being at school full-time.

During the then-Cambridge’s family tour to Germany, little Charlotte took a tumble and had to be comforted by her mum Kate.
At this time she was officially known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, however after Queen Elizabeth’s death in September 2022 this changed.
Her father Prince William became Prince of Wales, leading to her title changing to Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Wales.

In April 2018 Charlotte and George had the whole world cooing when they went to St Mary’s Hospital to meet their newborn baby brother, Prince Louis.
Charlotte also made history when Louis was born as the first British princess to not be overtaken in the line of succession by her younger brother.
Thanks to the Perth Agreement, which replaced male-preference primogeniture with absolute primogeniture, she did not lose her place in line behind George.

Despite her young age Charlotte has already been a bridesmaid several times, most famously when Prince Harry married Meghan Markle on May 19, 2018.
She has also been a bridesmaid for her aunt Pippa Middleton when she tied the knot with James Matthews, as well as for Kate’s friend Sophie Carter and also her dad’s cousin Princess Eugenie, when she married Jack Brooksbank in October 2018.
In 2019 a four-year-old Charlotte started school, joining brother George at Thomas’s School in Battersea not far from Kensington Palace.
The family then relocated to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor in 2022, meaning she and her brothers moved to Lambrook School.
Charlotte is not known by her royal title at school, instead being called Charlotte Wales after her father’s royal title.

In 2022 Charlotte attended the Service of Thanksgiving for her great-grandfather Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, at Westminster Abbey.
She had been unable to attend his funeral in Windsor a year earlier due to restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, which meant only 30 people could attend funerals.
This year was set to be a huge one for the Royal Family, as King Charles finally ascended the throne.

A seven-year-old Charlotte attended the countless celebrations for the Platinum Jubilee weekend in June 2022, including the pageant.
It seems she needed something to keep her entertained though, as she was sweetly spotted reading a programme with a picture of her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth on the front as a young, newly crowned woman.
Her younger brother Louis also kept the crowds happy and highly entertained by pulling a series of funny faces.
Later that summer Charlotte was treated to a trip to the Commonwealth Games with her parents William and Kate, which that year was held in Birmingham.
The trio enjoyed watching the swimming, hockey, and gymnastics, with Kate a keen hockey player herself in her younger days.
Sophie and Edward, then the Earl and Countess of Wessex, also attended the Games with their children Louise and James.

Charlotte and her younger brother Louis delighted onlookers with their appearance at the Coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla on May 6, 2023.
The young princess was in charge of keeping her brother in line during the service at Westminster Abbey, while George was serving as Page of Honour for their grandfather.
However they later got to enjoy the traditional flypast from the Buckingham Palace balcony.

On Christmas Day last year Charlotte joined the rest of the Royal Family at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham for the annual festive service.
It was the most recent time she appeared in public, as 2024 has so far been a difficult year for the Wales family.
In March Princess Kate confirmed she is undergoing preventative chemotherapy after being diagnosed with cancer.
