Meghan Markle is not a popular figure on the eastern side of the Atlantic Ocean, and she has decided to skip returning to the UK. She will head to Nigeria instead fearing that she would be booed and abused by the public.

It means that the Duke of Sussex will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the event for military veterans on May 8 alone, as he heads to the iconic St. Paul’s Cathedral in the heart of London, just 21 minutes away from Buckingham Palace.
“If she was to come to the UK, it would be really difficult,” said the Daily Mail’s Royal Editor, Charlotte Griffiths. “It would bring up terrible memories of the past for her and awkward moments when she was in various churches and things.
“But she’s a strong and tough woman, we know that about her, and she’s always telling us how brave she is. So if I were her, I would I’d be brave and walk up those steps. It would look great for her Netflix show anyway.”
