Meghan Markle is reportedly worried about Prince Harry attempting to reunite with his sister-in-law, Princess Kate, following the news of her cancer diagnosis, as he prepares for an upcoming UK visit.
A source has claimed the Duchess of Sussex is concerned Harry will regret the decision and believes it is a “big mistake”.
Speaking to OK! Magazine the unnamed source confessed: “Meghan knows she is facing a losing battle when it comes to Harry reaching out to Kate and William to try and sort through their differences, but she thinks he’s making a big mistake. She obviously feels sympathy for Kate and what she’s going through, but in her mind, it doesn’t change things.”
Releasing a heartfelt video message to the world, Princess Kate revealed she is undergoing “preventative chemotherapy” following her pre-planned abdominal surgery earlier this year. The news is said to have caused Harry to reach out and attempt to make amends with some members of the Royal Family.

Speaking about Kate’s recovery and Meghan’s opinion on a reconcilliation, the source added: “She wants her to make a full recovery and for the family to all be ok but four years on from leaving and she’s still upset by it all and can never fully forgive the royals for what they put her and Harry through and have never apologised.”
Royal commentator, Richard Fitzwilliams, recently explained the Royal Family’s health concerns could be a way for the families to reconcile.
He said: “With Catherine and the King’s illness — that is an enormous game changer even when there are deep family rifts.”
Harry and Meghan stepped down from being working royals in January 2020. They eventually moved to Montecito, California to raise their children, Prince Archie, four, and two-year-old Princess Lilibet, away from royal duties.

Prince Harry will be visiting the UK next month for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games at St Paul’s Cathedral, but it is not yet known if Meghan will accompany him on the trip.
Royal author Omid Scobie, who penned Endgame last year, stated in his book that Meghan “never felt at home” in the UK. He wrote that Meghan “never wants to set foot again in England”.
Harry is expected to attend a special service at St Paul’s Cathedral on May 8. The inaugural event of these games, which are designed for sick and injured servicemen and women, took place in London in 2014 and were co-founded by Harry.
The Duke of Sussex, Prince William, and their wives, were once referred to as the “fab four” by media. While Harry shared a close bond with William and Kate before their rift, he even described the Princess Of Wales as the “sister I’ve never had and always wanted” in his controversial tell-all memoir, Spare.
