Prince William has a lot on his plate at the moment after both his wife Kate Middleton and father King Charles were diagnosed with cancer, but a royal expert claims he also has his brother Prince Harry on his mind ahead of his UK visit
Prince William is feeling “sad and bewildered” about his younger brother Prince Harry’s behaviour ahead of his visit to the UK, a royal expert claims.
The Duke of Sussex will return to the UK at the beginning of May as he attends a celebration of ten years of the Invictus Games. His visit is set to include a special service at St. Paul’s Cathedral on May 8 but Meghan Markle’s attendance at the event is still ‘to be confirmed’.
A royal expert previously claimed Harry will have “no choice” but to visit his brother after his wife Princess Kate was recently diagnosed with cancer. But the visit could just cause more upset for Wiliam and Kate. “William is sad and bewildered at how bad things have become with his brother, but he is pragmatic about this and believes Harry will always be trouble,” Royal expert and author Tom Quinn exclusively tells us.

But Quinn believes the hurt from the brothers’ feud is even worse for Harry. “Things are more difficult for Harry because unlike his brother he doesn’t have a job,” Quinn says. “Harry has Meghan but very little to do in the States and he worries about what on earth he will do if the Meghan and Harry show ever came off the rails. William will always be okay because he’s going to be king. Writing Spare has made Harry something of even less use to the royal family than being the spare.”
It’s not yet known whether the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle will visit the UK alongside her husband. Meghan has rarely been back in the UK since the pair stepped back from their royal duties in 2020, with her last visit in 2022 to attend Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral. However, she did not return for King Charles III’s coronation last year, which Harry attended alone.
After Kate’s brave video message announcing that she is receiving treatment for cancer, Harry and Meghan reached out with a statement. “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace,” a spokesperson for the Sussexes said.
